Forestry mulching is the fastest, lowest-impact way to clear scrub, undergrowth, saplings and overgrown vegetation. A tracked mulcher grinds standing growth into a fine mulch in a single pass — no burning, no hauling, no heavy excavation — leaving a clean, mulched surface that suppresses regrowth and protects the soil. Parish Tree Surgery operates forestry mulching across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.
What forestry mulching is used for
It is ideal for development site preparation, clearing neglected woodland and paddocks, creating firebreaks and access tracks, managing rights of way, and large-scale ecological vegetation management. Because the mulcher leaves the cuttings on site as a protective layer, it is far gentler on the ground than traditional clearance and dig-out — and considerably quicker and cheaper on larger areas.
